Welcome to Waraba Touch Football Club!
Founded in 2024, Waraba Touch Football Club is a proud foundation member of the Waraba Sports Club and home to the mighty Burners!
Rooted in the spirit of the First Nations word ‘Waraba,’ meaning ‘to burn,’ our club is all about igniting a passion for Touch Rugby League (TRL) and building a community that values fun, friendship, and the love of the game.
Under the guidance of our dedicated coordinator, Nathan Manning, we currently field one senior mixed team, competing in TRL on Wednesday nights at Petrie. Each season runs for approximately 10 weeks.
Looking ahead, we are looking to expand our number of teams with the launch of a men’s team playing on Monday nights.
This is just the beginning for Waraba Touch Football Club, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
